MDM Bank Board of Directors Chairman Oleg Viyugin Named “Best Banker in Russia” for 2008

Moscow, 13 May 2008 – The Chairman of the Board of Directors of MDM Bank, Oleg Viyugin, has been voted “Best Banker in Russia” for 2008 at an awards ceremony held on 12 May 2009 in Moscow.

The competition, which is held annually, identifies the year’s outstanding leader within the Russian banking sector. The competition pays special attention to the nominees’ accomplishments and qualities in a variety of categories, including organizational leadership, dynamism, the reliability of his or her bank, his or her efforts toward ensuring bank stability, the performance of social programs, as well as the quality, customer service, and convenience available at the nominee’s banking branch network.

The founders of the competition are the Association of Regional Banks of Russia, the Association of Russian Banks, publishing house Finansovyi Control, the magazine Bankovskoe pravo, the Government of the Russian Federation Financial Academy, and the Chairman of RF Audit Chamber’s Advisory Council.
